As the restaurant scene in Ottawa continues to expand and evolve, cool new venues keep opening up all the time. Introducing our newest find – 327 Wine Bar. Located on Somerset, the stylish new hangout boasts an incredible wine list that will satisfy the palette of the most knowledgeable connoisseur.
327 Wine Bar also has a comprehensive menu to pair with their big, beautiful reds of Bordeaux or the crisp, tropical whites of New Zealand. Byward of Mouth was recently invited to a tasting – we were in heaven! Make sure to try the Filet and Frites – a succulent 5 oz. 28 day aged AAA tenderloin served with matchstick fries and a St. Elizabeth Blue cheese melt over top. The seared colossal scallops with fennel slaw on sweet soy honey is another dish that will keep you coming back again and again. Also make sure you try the vegan chilli with vegan beer bread.
327 Wine Bar is open late every night, so make sure to come check out what chefs/owners Brad Henderson and Tim Barton are up to in the Somerset West Village. 327 is one of the best late night experiences our town has to offer. See you there!
